SILENT TEARS.

The sun has shone her rays upon your face
And there gliding down into space, a silent tear,
Red and yellow pink and blue
The rainbow in your tear shines through.

I search your face, please make it clear
The reason for your silent tear,
Are you sick, feeling pain?
Oh please my God, make it plain.

Perhaps you want your Mamma near,
Is that the reason for your tears?
Or, did we through our busy day
Omit to talk - then walk away?

My heart it aches you cannot speak
To tell me why you feel this grief,
But let me hold you in my arms
Just feel the love from me abound.

My tears they flow I cannot speak
The frame that traps me makes me weep,
I watch you dance and sing and play
I want to join you every day

To tell you all the things I feel
That makes this life to me so real,
But in this chair each day I sit,
Washed and fed, then have a fit.

My thoughts and feelings are profound,
My stomach aches my head does pound,
I miss my Mamma, as you do too,
There is no difference twix me and you.

Your heart it aches for my silent tears,
Yet I’ve lived with it for many years,
The love you give helps ease the pain,
Perhaps one day I’ll be free again.
